Our Women’s Policy Centre team knows how to produce big ideas that resonate with policymakers, the media and the wider public. We engage people across the country, listen to women’s voices and work with them to make our ideas a reality. We believe in a comprehensive approach to advocacy and policy development. This multi-faceted approach enhances the effectiveness of our efforts in shaping policy and driving positive change. We work at high levels across Westminster, Whitehall, and European institutions, with policymakers from all parties, to build support coalitions. We aim to develop and promote new policy ideas that deliver better public services, a stronger society, and a more dynamic economy.
Paola Diana
Executive Chair
Paola Diana is the Founder and Chair of the Women’s Policy Centre, an independent think tank dedicated to advancing women’s rights, safety, and opportunities based on evidence, biological reality, and common sense, free from ideological influence. A successful international entrepreneur and CEO, Paola has built a prominent global business while maintaining a lifelong commitment to women’s empowerment. She is a devoted mother and a fearless advocate for truth, equal opportunities, women’s safety, child safeguarding, and the protection of biological womanhood and motherhood.
Her book, Saving the World: Women – The 21st Century Factor for Change (Quartet Books, 2018), sets out her vision for women as a powerful force for positive global change. In Italy, she served as Director of Operations for a think tank that supported the political campaign of a future Prime Minister, Romano Prodi. In the UK, she founded the Women’s Policy Centre and, from 2022 to 2023, served as Adviser for Women’s Rights to the Sheriff of the City of London. A compelling public speaker and passionate campaigner, Paola is also a dedicated martial artist. In 2020 she became European Champion in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (Master Blue Belt).
Dr Anna Ziad Loutfi
Research Consultant and Policy Advisor on Justice
Anna is a practising barrister, legal researcher, and consultant specialising in equality, anti-discrimination, and human rights law. She is a managing partner of DL Law, a firm dedicated to supporting civil liberties (especially freedom of expression and thought), and she hosts and produces the legal reporting podcast De Facto. She holds a PhD in comparative legal history and is an expert on the codification of the civil law, taking a keen interest in UK constitutional/legal current affairs from both historical and present-day perspectives. Anna believes there is a serious and positive case for restoring common law sources as the basis of our civil liberties and legal protections. Such an approach would require repealing part or the whole of the Equality Act 2010, removing the 2010 Act’s codified system of arbitrary and conflicting “protected characteristics,” and replacing it with fair, democratic, and generically applicable principles based on equality before the law and a general presumption of liberty.
Emma Hartley
External Affairs Officer
Emma is a public policy researcher and women’s rights advocate with a passion for driving change through evidence-based policymaking. Since the launch of the Women’s Policy Centre in March 2024, Emma has played a key role in shaping our research agenda and policy outreach. With experience advising policymakers across the political spectrum, Emma brings a balanced, innovative perspective, grounded in thorough research and a deep commitment to the rights of women and girls. Outside her professional life, Emma is a founding member of the Young Women’s Rights Network and an accomplished sportswoman who can regularly be found umpiring on the national hockey circuit.
Michael Moszynski
Communication
Michael is one of the most experienced international admen in the industry today. He worked for the Saatchi Brothers for over 20 years, running large global clients and setting up M&C Saatchi offices in Hong Kong, New York, London, Africa and The Middle East. In 2008 Michael launched LONDON Advertising as a new type of global agency, with just one office in London and using technology to disrupt the existing large, slow and bureaucratic networks. He has run campaigns in 135 countries and worked on political and Presidential campaigns across the globe. Michael was awarded UK CEO of the Year 2019 and 2020, but is most proud of his Order of Merit, awarded by the Knights of Malta, for his charity work.
Leonor Diaz Alcantara
Development & Fundraising
As the former CEO of Montessori Global Education, Leonor transformed the organisation into a global leader in early childhood education, with a strong focus on empowering disadvantaged communities. Her work centred on creating inclusive and equitable learning environments, particularly for young girls, and forging partnerships with global entities like UNICEF to advance these goals. Leonor’s commitment to women’s empowerment extends beyond education. Currently, Leonor is pursuing a portfolio career, including the launch of Saviesa Think Tank, focusing on education and social impact.

Prof. Mairi Sakellariadou
Research Fellow on Science
Prof. Sakellariadou is the President of the European Physical Society (EPS), the federation of all national physics societies in Europe, and a Professor of Theoretical Physics at King’s College, London.
Her field of research is theoretical physics and cosmology, with emphasis on the physics of the early universe.
Clare Page
Research Fellow on Parent Advocacy
Clare is a mother, writer, researcher and political consultant campaigning for impartiality, accuracy and transparency in British education after bringing a landmark Freedom of Information case. She took legal action hoping to establish that commercial secrecy should not take precedence over the parental interest to have access to their children’s learning resources. She is also the author of the report commissioned by Miriam Cates and published by the New Social Covenant Unit, which cast light upon serious problems with implementing the British Relationships and Sex Education (RSE) curriculum.
Lexi Ellingsworth
Research Fellow on Reproductive Technology
Lexi has spent her career working across media and the non-profit sector, focusing on issues ranging from access to education to women’s reproductive rights. She previously worked at the BBC World Service and with the Global Campaign for Education in Africa. In direct response to the UK Law Commission’s 2019 public consultation on surrogacy law reform, Lexi founded Stop Surrogacy Now UK, a campaign dedicated to raising public awareness about the realities of surrogacy, including concerns about the exploitation of women and the commodification of children.
Gary Powell
Research Fellow on on LGB Rights
Gary Powell is a long-standing gay rights activist since the early 1980s and Research Fellow at the Bow Group since 2019. His work focuses on exposing the harms of gender ideology, and developing a new political paradigm for gay and lesbian rights grounded in safeguarding and biological reality. He was a co-writer of the 2024 detransition documentary The Lost Boys: Searching for Manhood, and previously served as a local councillor (2015–2021) and European Special Consultant at the Center for Bioethics and Culture in California.

Susanne is the award-winning CEO of FINTECH Circle, a global community of more than 260,000+ fintech entrepreneurs, investors, and financial services professionals globally, an FTSE Board Member, and an Investor and Editor of The FINTECH Book Series. She is also a Non-Executive Director of CMC Markets PLC and Crown Agents Bank.
Alessandro Politi
Research Fellow on Global Policy
Alessandro Politi has served as the director of the NATO Defense College Foundation for 12 years, the sole NATO-recognized NGO strategic affairs centre. With 30 years of experience, he is a prominent global political and strategic analyst. Alessandro has imparted knowledge on geopolitics and international security in numerous public and private institutions. His extensive consulting experience includes working with four Defense Ministers and various governmental bodies. His most recent publication is titled “Goodbye Merkel”.

Lady Lewis
Lady Lewis is a recognised communications professional. Formerly a partner of Bell Pottinger Communications, she worked closely with Lord Bell for over 25 years. She was, until recently, Chairman of Citigate Dewe Rogerson stepping down to pursue a more plural approach. She continues as Senior Group Advisor to the Accordience Group (including Citigate Dewe Rogerson and Grayling) providing high-level corporate affairs counsel to international clients and oversees the delivery and coordination of integrated communication campaigns. Patsy is a NED of aim-listed RBG Holdings a professional services company where she sits on the RemCo and Audit committees. She also sits on the advisory board of Invescore and on the external affairs committee of the Design Museum.
Representative to Italy
Marina Bignotti Caleffi
Marina is a journalist and serves as the special advisor on Italian government relations for the women’s health NGO Iris Roma. She leads a team dedicated to promoting women’s health and addressing major diseases through training, information, and support initiatives. Additionally, she collaborates with a network of 40 associations to foster proactive relationships with governments, raising awareness that women’s health is both a fundamental right and a vital issue.
