The Women’s Policy Centre has created a resource of what we know today about the mass grooming and rape gangs scandal. We have done it to make it easier for anyone who wants to discover what has been revealed about the scandal. What is clear is that there has been an extensive cover-up and self-censorship fuelled by political correctness and the terror of being labelled racist. Our report reveals that there are still too many missing pieces, which is why we are calling for a national inquiry again.
The government announcement of a limited enquiry in 5 towns only scratches the surface because 5 to 10 times more councils have been impacted. Still, the information available is fragmented, and most critically, any local enquiry can’t call witnesses to give evidence under oath. Without this, we will never get to the truth, and what is even more scandalous is that not a single person in authority has been counted to account for their role in sweeping this appalling abuse under the carpet.
